Door handles are a major touch-point, being handled by numerous individuals on a daily basis, and are therefore are a breeding ground for bacteria.
In an effort to reduce our contact with known touch-points, The Institute for Automotive and Manufacturing Advanced Practice at University of Sunderland have designed a device which attaches to door handles, and allows you to open the door without the handle touching your hand.
