PC1000 is a non-UV stabilised polycarbonate which is classified as an advanced engineering and reinforced polycarbonate. PC1000 is a natural, non-optical industrial grade polycarbonate which has a 145°C heat resistance temperature and resists acidic and watery substances alike.
PC1000 has high mechanical strength, good creep resistance, very high impact strength, even at low temperatures, stiffness retention over a wide range of temperatures, very good dimensional stability, good electrical insulating and dielectric properties, physically inert, and economical thermal performance.
PC1000 is ideal for semiconductor and electronics applications as well as transparent structural applications.
PC1000 is available in sheet and rod form and comes in a range of thicknesses.
