Techtron HPV PPS

Techtron HPV PPS is an internally lubricated polyphenylene sulphide grade which demonstrates an excellent combination of properties making it ideal for applications where other materials fall short, or where other extreme plastics are over-engineered, and a more economical solution is required.

Techtron HPV PPS has very high maximum allowable service temperature in air (220°C continuously, up to 260°C for short periods of time), high mechanical strength, stiffness and creep resistance, excellent chemical and hydrolysis resistance, excellent wear and frictional behaviour, very good dimensional stability, excellent resistance to high energy radiation (gamma and x-ray), good UV resistance, good electrical insulating and dielectric properties, is physically inert and has inherent low flammability.

Techtron HPV PPS is often used in industrial equipment such as industrial drying and food processing ovens as well as chemical processing equipment and electrical insulating systems.

Techtron HPV PPS is available in sheet, rod, and tube forms, and in a range of thicknesses.
