Nylon has become the most well-known engineering plastics due to its excellent properties. Nylon acts as an all-rounder product and is capable in many situations of being a safe and dependable plastic.
Nylon sheet, nylon plate, nylon rod, and nylon tube within the polyamides are commonly referred to as “nylon”, each with distinguishable differences between grades. The most widely used are Nylon 6 PLA, Nylon 6 SA, Nylon 66 GF, Nylon 66, Nylon 6 XAU+, and Oil Filled Nylon. The differences in physical properties which exist between these grades of Nylon are mainly determined by the composition and the structure of their molecular chains.
