Nylon 6 PLA has high mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness, and toughness, good fatigue resistance, high mechanical damping ability, good sliding properties, excellent wear resistance, good electrical insulating properties, good resistance to high energy radiation (gamma and x-ray), and good machinability.
Nylon 6 PLA is used throughout food processing and packaging industries to produce parts such as gears, rollers, wheel bearings, and conveyor wear parts.
Nylon 6 PLA is available in sheet and rod form and comes in a range of thicknesses. The colours available are natural and black.
