Nylon 66 SA

Nylon 66 SA is a material with a higher mechanical strength, stiffness, heat, and wear resistance than Nylon 6 SA. It also has better creep resistance, but its impact strength and mechanical damping ability is reduced.

Nylon 66 SA has high mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness, and toughness, good fatigue resistance, high mechanical damping ability, good sliding properties, excellent wear resistance, good electrical insulating properties, good resistance to high energy radiation (gamma and x-ray), and good machinability.

Nylon 66 SA is often used to produce screw machined electrical insulators, bushings, bearings, gears, roller wheels, star wheels, and seals.

Nylon 66 SA is available in sheet and rod form and comes in a range of thicknesses. The colours available are natural and black.
