Oil filled nylon or Nylon LFX is an internally lubricated nylon 6.

Oil filled nylon has high mechanical strength, stiffness, hardness, and toughness, good fatigue resistance, high mechanical damping ability, good sliding properties, excellent wear resistance, good electrical insulating properties, good resistance to high energy radiation (gamma and x-ray), and good machinability.

Oil filled nylon is often used in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, and processing industries.

Oil filled nylon is green in colour, is available in sheet, rod and tube form and comes in a range of thicknesses.
